Chinese Flowers in JingShan Park
PICTORIAL - BUSY GOLDEN WEEK IN BEIJING PARK
JingShan Park has been open for public since 1928. Park is also known as Coal Hill Park, Feng Shui Hill and Prospect Hill. It's in the middle of Beijing, just north of TianAnMen Square and Forbidden City and beside another famous park, BeiHai Park.
JingShan Park is known for a thousand years. It was established during Jin Dynasty. The park hill is man made, 46 meters high. As Beijing is a flat city, JingShan Park is its highest point in city area.
For me one hour was enough to walk the park around to see its gardens, pavilions, houses and dancers.

JingShan Park introduction board had a picture of President Hu JinTao and China's New National Moral Principles. According to Hu, China's Communist Party officials and the masses should maintain socialist morality in line with Ba Rong Ba Chi.

+ Good park for walk-around, not oversized
+ Live music and dancers, a lot of visiting groups
+ If energy is no problem, extends well trip to Foreign City
- Traffic around the park
