PICTORIAL - ANCIENT VIEWS AND SOME MONKS

From Beijing less than two hours drive and I arrived to Tanzhe Temple. Many visitors had come from far-away provinces of China. I spent Tanzhe Temple a full day scouting and taking pictures.

Tanzhe Temple was built 1700 years ago during the Jin Dynasty. It’s original name was Jiafusi, Temple of Auspicious Fortune. That name was used during three dynasties: Jin, Yuan and Ming Dynasty. Current name Tanzhe means pool and mulberry which are found around.
